20 going on 35.

My name is Eileen and I'm 20 years old.
I'm also a full-time college student, studying to become an Elementary School Teacher.  As well as being the fiance of the man I live with, who is also a full-time college student, as well as a member of the Armed Forces. We're getting married sometime in the next year. And we also have a cat, his name is Dexter.



Sometimes I feel like I'm 35 years old.
I have to pay bills. Oh SO MANY bills. Vet bills. Cable bills. Rent. Car payments. Insurance. I'm thinking about things like buying a house, and when I want to start having kids. While most girls my age are thinking about whether they want another tattoo or where they are going for spring break next year.


You want to know what else?
I wouldn't have it any other way.

Sure...there are times when the going gets rough. But there are also times when all I can think about is how lucky I am. Most people go through life thinking the grass is always greener on the other side, and I'm hoping that won't be me. I have an incredible, and supportive family. Great friends. And the most amazing man who encourages me to be the best that I can be in everything that I do.
